Last Week of Treatment

The nausea from my chemo on Friday is starting to subside a bit, and I am on the last week of radiation treatments.  The last week has been a struggle just to get through each day.  What a long strange journey it has been.  I am still in a bit of a fog about it all.  I know that there is a pretty lengthy recovery process, but look forward to taking each step in that direction.  Still mostly tired.  Glad for the sunshine and the flowers in the garden.  Am I getting too sappy?  More later...Love to all.

  1. Fog is better than clear at the moment. Wish I could take it all off you. Your blogs are inspiring. Never too sappy. Plant an herb and watch it grow. Or just be a plant. New poem coming soon called 'my dear husband'

  2. Marlene here.

Not too sappy at all. You've been on a long and dangerous journey, might as well be on a trip as well! Keep rested, holler if you want some tapioca.

  4. Bring on the sap! It's a refreshing break from the usual bureaucratic-third-person-objective-analytical-neutral-jargon I ask you to write for work. Thanks for the effort you give to posting when you feel up to it. We miss you! Or in our style here...."The City of Albany and its organizational units have observed your absence and have expressed the followingconcerns in the above referenced matter: 1) We cannot conduct business as usual; 2) The skills, knowledge and abilty that you bring to your job performance cannot be otherwise duplicated. 3) It sucks here without you." - Beth
