Spent the weekend up in the wine country, including a day visit to the Hot Springs north of Calistoga--soaking in various temperature pools and getting massaged. Very lovely and relaxing. Then went back down to Calistoga for dinner and spent the night at a nice little B&B. The sun came out on Sunday for our morning walk, and although the vineyards are still brown, all of the wildflowers are in bloom, and I saw a meadowlark (I've always wanted to see one in person!)
It was great to get away before our trip to MD Anderson in Houston tomorrow. Allen has us listening to country music in preparation--I hope that helps!
I can't say thank you enough to everyone who has been supporting us in so many ways, but you are all incredibly wonderful.
