Preliminaries, or "what the heck is that?"

Hi Friends and Family:

To try to make a long story short, I have been diagnosed with a low grade cancer (located at the back of my tongue and in my neck), which is the same thing I had 12 years ago.  As some may recall, I had a lymph node removed and then a variety of scans which showed nothing else,  so they never found a primary.  Now it appears that this may be the primary.  I am currently in the process of making the rounds  of doctors to determine the treatment plan.   Pretty sure it will be a six week course of daily radiation, but possibly drug therapy as well.   There is still more information to gather.
